Howdy!

I am a Korean-American from Cypress, TX, set to graduate from Texas A&M in spring 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication with minors in Business and Journalism. I currently work at the Texas A&M Foundation as a marketing social media student assistant, and The Battalion as an Associate Sports Editor. I will also work with LyondellBasell as a communications intern for summer 2025.

The Battalion

Sports Editor, August 2024 – Present

Write and publish detailed articles analyzing Texas A&M sporting events, ensuring each piece is thoroughly researched, fact-checked, and submitted within tight deadlines. Maintain a professional presence when communicating with athletics professionals, building strong rapport with officials, athletes, and press, fostering a network of trust. Actively identify and rectify editorial errors, reducing publication mistakes, while also implementing feedback loops to improve future content quality from writers.

 

The Texas A&M Foundation

Marketing Social Media Student Assistant, May 2024 – Present

Increased social media impressions by 48.1% (2.8M viewers) and boosted engagement by 51.4% (156K interactions) through strategic content development across several platforms. Contributed to a 162.4% growth in post link clicks (68,968), driving user interactions toward specific donation pages and university giving initiatives. Collaborated with a content team to produce consistent, visually impactful posts, managing a social media calendar that aligned with university events, leading to sustained engagement.
